If you’re looking for the easiest entry points into Northstar, Laura Albretsen-Shugart shares some invaluable insights. According to her, kindergarten and 6th grades served as the best entry points this year. Interestingly, she also highlighted that there were only 2-3 openings total for third grade last year.

Amber chimed in again, indicating another “easy” entry point is the 9th grade. However, Laura remains skeptical about securing a spot for her own third grader, who is going to be put in the draw for the fourth grade in the coming academic year.

When Does Northstar's Lottery Open?

She stated that the school board just voted on the official dates of the lottery at their last board meeting.
