Tiny Tumblers
Kelly Nicole was wondering where her active 16-month-old could find a gymnastics class in the Eagle area. She already tried The Little Gym, but they’re booked (isn’t that just the way of mom life?). Fear not, Kelly! The sisterhood of Eagle Moms swooped in with recommendations aplenty.
Soaring High with The Gym Nest
Julie Killpack recommends checking out The Gym Nest, a crowd favorite among our Eagle Moms. They offer mama-and-me classes and even an open gym on Wednesdays and Fridays. Are we witnessing the birth of an Olympic gymnast? Time will tell!
When should you begin?
Although their classes start at 18 months, Kelly, you might like to hop over to the open gym for a taster session. And don’t worry, sweetheart, those 2 months will pass quicker than a round-off back handspring (Mom time, remember?).
A Clapping of Hands for the Gym Nest!
Unanimously, our beloved mom squad echoes their appreciation for Gym Nest. From Libby Fischer to Brianna Weedop, Megan Menke, Erica Worden, and Devyn Dodero, everyone admires this place! Soaring on the wings of camaraderie, some even mentioned the open gym as the perfect option for younger kids.
Pack those tiny (but oh-so-adorable) leotards and grip chalk, and we’re off to Gym Nest!
With your 16-month-old doing splits and handstands, who knows what the future holds? Besides, we’ve heard that investing in future Olympians guarantees you priority seating at family dinners. (Wink, wink.)
