EXPERIENCE TRAIL CREEK HOT SPRINGS IN IDAHO

July 7, 2023

As one of the most popular hot springs in Southwest Idaho, Trail Creek Hot Springs is a must-visit destination for locals and tourists alike. Nestled in the Payette National Forest, this natural soak is just two hours away from Boise, near a charming town called Cascade. And let me tell you, it’s an absolute favorite among Idaho locals, including those in Eagle, Star, and Meridian. This natural soak is easily accessible, yet offers a remote and peaceful atmosphere.

Here’s what you can expect during your visit

WARM LAKE | 2 SMALL POOLS | 60-FOOT TRAIL FROM ROAD

Now, here’s what you need to know before you pack your bags and hit the road. Trail Creek Hot Springs is a year-round hot spring, but winter is a whole different ballgame. Be prepared to face some heavy snow and icy road conditions, so bring your best gear. Once you arrive, you’ll find natural pools created by boulders and cement that sit right beside the river – breathtaking, right?

But wait, there’s more! The short footpath to the pools is very steep and can act as a slide in the winter season due to compacted snow and ice from heavy use.So, you’re ready to dip your toes into some rock and sand hot soaking pools? Right off the paved road, you’ll find these two little gems waiting for you.

Now, let’s talk size, because size matters, doesn’t it? The first pool measures in at a cozy eight feet by twelve feet. It’s like having your own private oasis, perfect for stretching out and soaking up all that hot springs goodness. And then we have the second pool, a charming little one with a circumference of about six feet. It’s like a cozy little nook, just waiting for you to relax and let the stress melt away.

So, whether you’re looking for a pool to stretch out in or a cozy spot to get all tucked in, these two hot soaking pools have got you covered for a cozy soak.
